The week-long event will present screenings at the University of Miami’s Bill Cosford Theater, the Miami Science Museum and Planetarium, the Miami Beach Cinematheque, the Miami-Dade College’s Tower Theater and the Miami Children’s Museum.
Festival highlights include an evening of Latin American films at the Tower Theater; a special matinee screening for children at Miami Children’s Museum and the closing ceremony and awards presentation on December 1st at the Miami Science Museum and Planetarium where the winners of this year’s short film celebration will be announced.
The festival has lived up to its tag line “Big Dreams in Short Films” and has been embraced by the Miami’s community at large and allowed to flourish. Encompassing five venues and one hundred and fifty films from six continents, the 6th edition of the Miami Short Film Festival promises to be among the best there is. No question about it.
