The Institute for Communication Entertainment and Media at St. Thomas University is hosting its first Arts Management Graduate Open House on February 11, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Discover the unique intricacies of being an art manager.
The Art Management Masters Degree gives successful graduates a comprehensive understanding of sound communications and principles as they apply to the management of art galleries, museums and events as well as the promotion and professional development of individual artists. Through applied practice and research projects, this program allows scholars to focus their studies in areas of their own interest within the arts industry. The program offers convenient evening schedules designed for working professionals in nine-week terms.
Through a sequence of core courses and specialization courses students will develop:
Arts Management skills
Practical knowledge of events management
Fundamentals of business practices in managing art projects
The opportunity to work with outstanding academic and professional faculty and instructors
