Call for Artists Deadline: April 23rd, 2007Artformz Alternative is currently seeking submissions for its 1st National Juried Exhibition: Deviant Behavior. Artists are invited to submit up to three images for consideration. The gallery is interested in showcasing work that engages the viewer in unexpected ways. Artists may accomplish this thematically or by the use of visually exciting materials or techniques. All original two and three-dimensional work in drawing, painting, sculpture, video, mixed media, digital techniques, installation or photography is eligible for consideration (no prints, multiple giclees or reproductions). Special consideration will be given to works that demonstrate strong dedication to experimentation. Works must fit through a door 84”H x 32”W. The exhibit will run from May 12th to July 10th, 2007 with two evening receptions. Artformz Alternative will provide all PR and marketing services. Artformz maintains very high criteria and selects artists that have demonstrated a serious dedication to their career. Artformz has a high profile location in the center of the Miami Design District and has gained a reputation of respect in the community for very strong shows. We offer excellent exposure for our participating artists, and 300+ people attend our receptions. Consistent with all of Artformz shows we expect to receive quality attention from the press.
