Carnival Center for the Performing Arts From Jan 9th through Jan 13th, 2007Bigger Than Jesus, the hit Canadian comedy by Rick Miller and Daniel Brooks, will be presented at Carnival Center for the Performing Arts’ Studio Theater this January. Described by Variety as “an exciting piece of multimedia theater with a challenging point of view,” Bigger than Jesus is a one-man show that grapples with the thorny crown of Christianity through the conflicting and humorous viewpoints of a wild assortment of characters all played by Rick Miller. Bigger than Jesus incorporates live video, projections and clever theatrical sequences that parallel the structure of the Catholic Mass. Miller was trained in Montreal as an architect, actor, and singer, and has performed in three languages on four continents. He is known as one of Canada’s most respected multi-disciplinary performers, with credits ranging from classical theatre to the avant-garde. For more information, please call: 305.949.6722
