Holiday Jazz Concert December 22nd, 2006Grammy Award-winning vocalist Dianne Reeves will perform a holiday jazz concert at Miami’s Carnival Center for the Performing Arts as part of the Center’s Chivas Regal Jazz Series on December 22nd, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. Reeves, whose vocals seduced audiences, will present a playful take on traditional Christmas music as heard on her acclaimed holiday album Christmas Time is Here. Renowned for her live performances, Reeves has sung extensively with Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. She has also recorded with Daniel Barenboim and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and was a featured soloist with Sir Simon Rattle and the Berlin Philharmonic. For her performance on the soundtrack of George Clooney’s six-time Oscar nominated film Good Night, and Good Luck, Reeves received her fourth “Best Jazz Vocal” Grammy this year.
