The Wolfsonian-FIU. Mar 16th, 2007The Wolfsonian-FIU and WPBT Channel 2 are pleased to present Cinema 2 at The Wolf, a monthly documentary film series. On Friday, March 16th, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Independent Lens: Stolen illustrates the events of two thieves who executed the largest art heist in modern history by dressing as police officers and gaining entrance to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. Among the thirteen priceless works stolen, Vermeer’s The Concert is thought to be the world?s most valuable stolen painting ever. Screenings will be held at The Wolfsonian with free admission. All programs are part of WPBT?s broadcast line-up, scheduled to air on Channel 2 within the month the film is presented.
