From May 4th through May 13th, 2007GableStage announces nine special free performances of Shakespeare’s Timon of Athens at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center and Hialeah High School Auditorium. This one-hour version was adapted and directed by Paul Tei, Artistic Director of Mad Cat Theatre Company. It features Erik Fabregat, Scott Genn, Nicole Mitchell and Pete Rogan, playing multiple roles. There will be discussions with the actors following each performance. Families are welcome, reservations are not required. The African Heritage Cultural Arts Center is located at 6161 NW 22nd Avenue in Miami. Performances at this venue will take place May 4th at 7:00 p.m. May 5th at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. and May 6th at 3:00 p.m. The Hialeah High School Auditorium is located at 251 E 47th Street in Hialeah.
