Visiting Ours by David Caudle May 7th, 2007Located at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, the GableStage Theatre is presenting the playreading Visiting Ours by author David Caudle on May 7th, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. Featuring actors Todd Allen Durkin, Kathryn Lee Johnston, Angie Radosh, Barbara Sloan, and Tara Vodihn, this is the story of a South Florida lesbian couple whose son is being arrested for assault. A very hard moment in which they must reconcile hope with the truth about the child they raised. Their heartbreaking struggle reminds us that gay parents not only seek the same rewards as straight parents, but knowingly sign on for the same risks. The playwright, a Miami native, is a recent Carbonell nominee for Best New Work for The Sunken Living Room, and screenwriter of the short film, Feet of Clay, which premieres in the Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival on May 3rd, 2007.
