Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Constructing New Berlin on November 19th, 2006 Bass Museum in MIami Beach is starting its German Film Series this November, in conjunction with the exhibition Constructing New Berlin. The Film Series will start with Run Lola Run (1998) on Sunday, November 19, 3:00. The film tells the story of an exciting, non-stop affair in which the flaming red-haired Lola is given twenty minutes to get $100,000 to her boyfriend before the mob kills him. With lots of visual flares, Run Lola Run is an Audience Award winner at Sundance Film Festival. The film will be introduced by guest speaker Barron Sherer who came to South Florida to become a film and video archivist at the Louis Wolfson II Florida Moving Image Archive.
