From May 19th through July 23rd, 2006Haitian Spirit exhibitions include: Haitian Art from the Bass Museum Collection; Allegories of Haitian Life from the Collection of Jonathan Demme; and Edouard Duval- Carrie: The Vodou Pantheon. Related programs include a panel discussion, documentary films, performances, and a family fun day. All programs are organized by the Bass Museum to foster greater awareness of Haitian culture and contributions to our community. During the Haitian Spirit celebration the Bass Museum of Art will offer free admission to Miami Beach residents and members of participating Haitian organizations.
