During the summer of 2006 the Margulies Collection in Wynwood Art District will be rotating a significant portion of the warehouse with many new works of video, photography and sculpture. They have loaned several artworks to institutions such as the Tampa Museum of Art, MOCA Miami, the Harn Museum at the University of Florida, Cornell University and USF Contemporary Art Museum allowing them to install a new exhibit. When the warehouse reopens in October, 2006, the collection will have major new works on display by artists such as: Zilvinas Kempinas, Hiraki Sawa, Eija-Liisa Ahtila, John Szarkowski, Danny Lyon, Olafur Eliasson, Alec Soth, and Maurizio Pelligrin. Over the summer they will also confirm arrangements to bring Jeff Wall to Miami as part of their Conversations on Art lecture series in the fall. The Margulies Collection at the Warehouse suspended open to the public hours for the summer season starting May 1st, 2006 and will reopen to the public on October 1st, 2006.
