From Apr 12th to Apr 22nd, 2007In its fourth edition, the Miami Beach Dance Festival – produced by Momentum Dance Company – presents ten days of contemporary dance performances that will take place through several venues in Miami Beach. Companies participating in this year’s festival include Ballet Flamenco La Rosa, Ballet Contemporaneo de la Ciudad de Oaxaca, Mexico, Carolyn Dorfman Company from New York, Core Performance Group from Atlanta/Houston, Momentum Dance Company and The Dance Now! Ensemble. Lectures, master classes, a salsa night and presentation of dance related films round out the ten day festival. Friday, April 13th, 2007 Pre-Concert lecture by Theodore Bale at 7:00 p.m. Core Performance Group from Atlanta performs Yoko Ono’s Aria for an Endangered Species at 8:00 p.m. at the Byron Carlyle Theatre.
