Feb 10th through Feb 11th, 2007The Miami Beach Festival of the Arts 2007, to be held February 10th and 11th at Ocean Terrace, East of Collins from 73rd to 75th Street, will be an enriching cultural arts experience with captivating activities for the whole family to enjoy. This signature community event for residents and visitors of the City of Miami Beach showcases the artwork of 150 artists from across the nation on exhibit with their paintings, sculpture, glass, ceramics, jewelry, and photographs. The artwork is juried and prestigious cash prizes are awarded. Proceeds collected year round from local Patrons of the Arts generate pre-sale coupons used to purchase artwork at the event. This nationally recognized event brings over 30,000 visitors to Ocean Terrace to browse the fine art on exhibit while enjoying the cultural and performing arts. Ocean Terrace is positioned between the open sea, the commercial district, and the Community Center. This site offers an open-air band shell, Activity Center, and Beach Bowl with on-going music, dance, theatre, arts and crafts, storytelling, and international cuisine throughout the event for children of all ages.
