Concert Season. From Dec 5th, 2008 through Mar 13th, 2009. Miami-Dade Park and Recreation Department announces Noches Tropicales 2008-2009 free concert series. This season features internationally recognized artists Albita on December 5th, 2008, Las Calles de Buenos Aries on January 23rd, 2009 and Tiempo Libre on March 13th, 2009. All concerts begin at 8:00 p.m. and take place at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40th Street in Miami.
Started in 2005, Noches Tropicales is a series of free concerts held at Tropical Park dedicated to celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Hispanic music and dance. Since its beginning, Miami-Dade Parks has presented 11 concerts ranging from traditional Cuban zarzuelas to Argentinean tango to Brazilian jazz to contemporary Cuban music and a theatrical presentation of the Shakespeare classic, Romeo and Juliet in Spanish.

"Through the partnership of Target with Miami-Dade Parks for Noches Tropicales, together we are making sure the arts are accessible to children and families."
