From Apr 6th through 7th, 2007On April 6th, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. the New World Symphony Percussion Consort will be offering a concert titled Déjà Vu Blues at the Lincoln Theatre in Miami Beach. Michael Linville will be conductor and the program includes works such as the North American premiere of Minotauros Blues by Henze, Pulitzer Prize winner Déjà Vu by Colgrass, as well as Messiaen’s portrait of birds. On April 7th, 2007 New World Symphony offers their usual Community Appreciation Concert at the Lincoln Theatre, featuring Steven Jarvi as conductor and presenting a new piece composed by one of their own violinists. The program for that night will also include the Overture to The Marriage Figaro by Mozart, Transposed Memories by Szewczyk, Finale from Symphony No. 1 by Brahms, Sr. Radetzky March by J.
