June 25th, 2006Piano Lovers presents pianist Yang Shen in a delightful afternoon of classical music. The program to be performed by Shen will include Pictures at an Exhibition by Moussorsky, Dumka by Tchaikovsky, Liszt ‘s Spanish Rapsody, a Sonata by Clementi and the Prelude Fireworks by Debussy. Yang began her studies in Shanghai Special Music School and continued them at the Shanghai Conservatory. She also studied at the Harid Conservatory and the Thornton School of Music USC. Her teachers have included John Perry, Roberta Rust, Arie Vardi, and Jerome Lowenthal. Throughout her years of study she has had many scholarships and has given solo and chamber music recitals in US and China. This concert will take place on June 25th, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. at the Steinway Piano Gallery located at 7940 North Federal Highway in Boca Raton, FL. For more information, please call: 561.982.8887
