Sundays Afternoons of Music for Children. April 30th, 2006Sundays Afternoons of Music is presenting Something to Sing About. Join the Florida Singing Sons Boychoir under the music direction of Craig Denison for an energetic afternoon of singing, body percussion an all out good time. There are few sounds in music as exquisite as those produced by South Florida’s most recognized young vocal organization. Boys and girls will learn how singing can be beautiful and fun just by listening and joining in the sing-along. Vocal demonstrations by boychoir members will also be included in the program. This will be an exciting, entertaining, fun and educational afternoon that parents and children can share. Instructors from Allegro Music Center in Coral Gables will help children playing the musical string instrument “petting zoo”. Peter-the-Mime will entertain until the performance begins and will host the Apple juice. Fun is the first step to music appreciation and that is what these concerts are all about. Follow the balloms to the Gusman Concert Hall at the University of Miami. For more information, please call 305.271.7150
