From August 4th through August 26th, 2006Mad Cat Theatre Company continues showcasing the world premiere of Terminal Baggage at the Light Box on Biscayne Blvd. This play is written by Paul Tei and Ivonne Azurdia and it features Erik Fabregat, Scott Genn, Katie Amadeo, George Schiavone, Kameshia Duncan, Matt Glass, Jessica Farr and Ivonne Azurdia. For many, an airport is like a purgatory; a necessary limbo before arriving at your final destination. In Terminal Baggage, eight actors take on multiple characters as they travel from Miami to Berlin to Chicago and back, all caught in an unending cycle of arrivals, departures, lost luggage, new loves, perfect strangers and chance encounters. The lives intersecting in these fleeting encounters exist in the unique and fragile ecosystem of an airport, all hoping to get bumped up to first class.
