June 3rd and 4th, 2006The Playground Theatre presents The Love of Three Oranges on June 3rd and and 4th, at the Rinker Playhouse. This play is conceived for young audiences and tells the story of a melancholic prince who thinks his problems are solved when he finally finds his purpose in life: to capture an evil witch’s magical oranges. Little does he suspect that his hunt for enchanted citrus will lead him to his ideal princess. Based on a scenario by Count Carlo Gozzi, this play is now directed by Stephanie Ansin. This beloved comedy inspired the classic opera and has now been adapted for children. This is a great opportunity to watch a prince on his hilarious search for three enchanted oranges.
