Tongue of a Bird From Oct 26th through Nov 12th, 2006The Women’s Theatre Project in Cooper City, FL presents the Southeastern Premiere of Tongue of a Bird, a play written by Ellen McLaughlin and directed by Genie Croft . This lyrical drama features a cast of five professional actors including Annemaria Rajala, Elayne Wilks, Lela Elam, Erin Joy Schmidt and Dina Lewis. The show marks the ninth local premiere for the company, which is the only professional theatre company in the country producing works written by women with all female casts. In Tongue of a Bird, a search-and-rescue pilot, desperately seeks a missing young girl. Haunted by visions of her dead mother, and the lost girl, Maxine struggles to come to terms with her forgotten past.
