From Aug 5th through 29th, 2010.
The Women’s Theatre Project presents the US Premiere of “Wicked Sisters” by Alma DeGroen. Directed by Genie Croft and starring Linda Bernhard, Elizabeth Dimon, Miki Edelman and Jude Parry.
“Wicked Sisters” is a sharp-fanged, humorous look at the shape of women’s lives. A scientific genius dies and his widow, Meridee, hosts a lunch for three friends. The four women have known each other since their youth but their lives have gone in divergent directions. As secrets unravel through their reminiscences, theories of evolution based on “deadly” competition begin to have an uncanny resonance and Meridee’s genteel idyll dissolves into a battleground.
“Wicked Sisters” marks TWTP’s 23rd main stage production, previewing Thursday, August 5th with performances August 6th through August 29th, 2010.
